خلل ḵẖalal A (from خلّ) s. m. Interruption, dis- turbance, confusion, prejudice, damage, injury, defect, ruin, hiatus, breach. خلل دماغ ḵẖalal-i-dimāg̠ẖ, s. m. (lit. خمره ḵẖumra A (from خمر) s. m. 1. A small mat of palm leaves for kneeling on at prayers. 2. A small drum carried by beggars. 3. A small earthen pot in which leaven is prepared and kept.

خواص ḵẖawāṣṣ A s. plur. (of خاصّ or خاصّه) 1. Attendants, domesticks. 2. Grandees, ministers of state, people of quality or distinct from the vulgar, gentry. 3. Properties, qualities, attri- butes. 4. A page or a female attendant on the great. 5. A favourite. خواص وعوام ḵẖawāṣṣ o aﻌwāmm, Nobles and plebeians.

خست ḵẖissat A s. f. 1. Stinginess, parsimony, avarice, penuriousness. 2. Meanness.

خضاب ḵẖiẓāb A (from خضب) s. m. 1. Tinc- ture. 2. Tinging the nails and hair, but par- ticularly the beard. خضاب آهني کرنا ḵẖiẓāb-i-āhanī karnā, To shave the beard.

خريد ḵẖarīd P (from خريدن) 1. in compos. part. pass. Bought. 2. s. f. Purchase. خريد فروخت ḵẖarīd faroḵẖt, Buying and selling. خريد کا مول ḵẖarīd kā mol, s. m. Prime cost.
