To collect. 5. To learn. حاصل کلام ḥāṣil- i-kalām, In short, briefly. حاصل هونا ḥāṣil honā, To be acquired, or obtained, to result, to accrue.

حوالات ḥawālāt A (from حال Heb. ) s. f. Things given in charge, trusts. A. P. حوالدار ḥawāl-dār (حواله and part. act. of داشتن) s. m. A military officer of inferiour rank.

To lose oneʼs charac- ter, to incur disgrace. حرمت کرنا ḥurmat kar- nā, To treat respectfully, to honour. حرمت لينا ḥurmat lenā, 1. To violate, to ravish. 2. To disgrace.

حجامت ḥajāmat A (from حجم He cupped, &c.) s. f. Cupping, scarifying, shaving. A. H. حجامني ḥajjām-anī, s. f. (dakh.) Barberʼs wife.

حمام ḥammām A (from حمّ Heb. To become warm) s. m. A hot bath, bagnio. ¶ ḥamām, s. A pigeon.

حميده ḥamīda A f. (from حمد) adj. 1. Praised. 2. Laudable, glorious. اخلاق حميده aḵẖlāḳ-i-ḥamīda, Laudable quali- ties or manners. اوصاف حميده auṣāf-i-ḥamīda, Laudable qualifications.

حزين ḥazīn A (from حزن) adj. Sad, sorrowful, afflicted, melancholy, grieved.
