حصين ḥaṣīn A (from حصن) adj. Fortified, strong.

Artful, insidious, wily, deceitful. حيله بازي ḥīla-bāz-ī, or حيله گري ḥīla- gar-ī, s. f. Artfulness, stratagem, trick, wiliness. حيله ساز ḥīla-sāz, adj. Preparing deceit, deceit- ful, artful. حيله سازي ḥīla-sāz-ī, s. f. Prepara- tion of deceit, artifice, chicane.

حيرت ḥairat A s. f. Stupor and perturbation of mind, astonishment, amazement. حيرت افزا ḥairat-afzā or حيرت فزا ḥairat-fazā, Astonishing. حيرت زده ḥairat-zada, Struck with asto- nishment, thunderstruck, aghast, amazed. حيرت مآب ḥairat-maʼāb, adj. Astonished.

حمق ḥumḳ A or ḥumuḳ, s. m. Foolishness, folly, stupidity, inadvertency.

حله ḥalla H (perhaps for Arab. حمله) s. m. Assault, onset, attack, storm. حله کرنا ḥalla karnā, To assault, storm, attack.
