چنتنا chintanā चिंतन S̱. v. a. To study, to think.

چهترانا chhitrānā H v. a. 1. To scatter, to strew. 2. To spread.

چپڙا chupṛā H adj. Plausible though false.

چهلکنا chhalaknā S̱. (see چهلک chhalak) v. n. To be spilt, to spill, to overflow.

چهوٿ chhūṭ S̱. s. f. 1. Remission, leaving. 2. Striking off hand or playing loose in fencing. 3. Radiance or splendour of jewels, reflection of a mirror, &c. 4. Giving money off hand or at will to jugglers, &c. at entertainments.

چچکارنا chuchkārnā H v. n. To fondle, to chirp to, to cheer by making the noise occasioned by drawing in the breath with lips protruded.

چچيرا chacherā H adj. Descended from or re- lated through a paternal uncle; as, چچيرا بهاٴي chacherā bhāʼī, s. m. A cousin, son of paternal uncle. چچيري بـﮩن chacherī bahin, Daughter of paternal uncle, a female cousin.

چوکونا chau-konā S̱. (चतुष्कोण) adj. Four- cornered, square.

چچر chachar H adj. (Land) that has been cul- tivated or ploughed one year.

چکر चिकुर chikur S s. m. 1. Hair. 2. Lock of hair.
