چهيڙنا chheṛnā H v. a. To irritate, vex, excite, fret, trouble, disturb, molest, abuse, insult, ag- gress, to touch, handle, stir up, interrupt. 2. To play on a musical instrument.

چرنا chirnā S̱. (intrans. of چيرنا chīrnā, q. v.) v. n. To be torn or split, to split.

چنيٿهـ chaneṭh H s. f. Spices given to cattle, drugs for oxen.

چفته chafta P s. m. A prop, an arbour.

چونٿا chūnṭā H s. m. A large ant.

چپکا chup-kā H adj. Silent.

چڙيا chiṛiyā चटका S̱. s. f. A hen-sparrow, (the generick term) a sparrow or sparrows.

چنري chunarī H s. f. A mode of dying cloths, in which they are tied in different places pre- vious to dipping them in the die, so as to pre- vent the parts tied from receiving the colour: also, cloths died in this manner.

چونٿنا chūnṭnā H v. a. To gather (a flower), to claw, pinch.

چرز charz P s. m. A sort of bustard. (Otis ben- galensis).
