چنـﮩ‍ار chinhār S̱. (from चिन्ह) s. m. An acquaint- ance.

چهگل chhagal S̱. s. (dakh.) See چهاگل chhāgal.

چول chūl H s. f. 1. A tenon, the part of joinerʼs work which fits into another (as, a dove-tail). 2. A pivot upon which a door turns (as on a hinge). 3. An axle-tree-arm. چولين اکهڙنا يا ڐهيلي هونا chūleṅ-ukhaṛnā or -ḍhīlī honā, To be tired, worn out with labour.

چٿ سال chaṭ-sāl S̱. (चटुशाला i. e. चटु A boy, and शाला A house) s. f. A school, an academy.

چتا chittā चित्रक S̱. s. m. Name of a medi- cinal plant. (Plumbago zeylanica).

چلهوانس chilhwāṅs S̱. (from चिल्ल A kite and मांस Flesh) s. m. 1. The flesh of a kite (the eating of which is said to produce madness). 2. Screaming like a kite.

چوهڙا chūhṛā H s. m. A Hindū sweeper. See حلال خور ḥalāl-ḵẖor.
