چهنچهنانا chhanchhanānā H v. n. 1. To simmer. 2. To sound, chink. 3. To smart, to pain.

چوگهرا chau-ghar-ā चतुर्गृह S̱. s. m. A small box of gold or silver, with four partitions, for holding perfumes.

چنگي chingī H s. f. 1. See چنگاري chingārī. 2. A wicked dwarf. چنگي جهڙنا چهوٿنا يا نکلنا chingī-jhaṛnā, -chhūṭnā or -nikalnā, To sparkle.

چکان chakān P (from چکيدن) part. in compos. Dropping, distilling.

چلـﮩورنا chilhornā H v. a. To peck.

چونا chūnā S̱. 1. (च्यवन from r. च्यु Go) v. n. To leak, distil, drop, to be filtered, to ooze, to exude. 2. To drop from the tree when ripe (fruit). 3. (चूर्ण) s. m. Lime. چونا پزني chūnā-paznī, s. f. A dancing girl. چونا لگانا chūnā lagānā, To defame.

چومکها chau-mukh-ā S̱. (चतुर्मुख Four-faced) 1. adj. Having four burners, &c. (a lamp). 2. s. m. A lamp-stand with four partitions. 3. A kind of پٿا paṭā, q. v.

چاٿي chāṭī H s. f. A churn.

چرجيونا chir-jīwnā S̱. (from چرجيو) v. n. To be long-lived.

چڙهاٴي charhāʼī H (from چڙهنا) s. f. 1. Ascent, acclivity, embarkation, attack, assault, irruption, rank, dignity. 2. Price paid for ascending, riding, embarking, &c.
