اون ūn S̱. (ऊर्णा r. ऊर्णु Cover) s. f. Wool. گاڐرآني اون کون بيٿهي چري کپاس gāḍar ānī ūn koṅ baiṭhī chare kapās, I brought the sheep for wool and she is eating up the cotton. (Spoken of any thing done by way of economy, which turns out very expensive, or by which a loss is incur- red.)

انبار ambār P s. m. A heap, a stack, a stock, a magazine, a granary, a barn.

آپس āpas S̱. or apas (see آپ āp) pron.recip. Self, selves, oneʼs self, themselves, one another; (hence) s. f. Kindred, brotherhood, fellowship.

اه अहि ahi S s. m. Snake or serpent. ¶ इह iha, pron. This. इहि ihi, This very. اهٿهان ihi-ṭhān, Here, in this very place.

استخوان ustuḵẖẉān P (Sans. अस्थि) s. m. A bone, the stone of fruit, &c.
