چچڙي chichṛī H s. f. A tick or louse (of dogs and sheep).

چهٿنا chhuṭnā S̱. (r. चुट or छुट Divide, cut) v. n. To be adrift, to be discharged, to be got rid of, to be let go or left off, to be left or aban- doned, to slip (from), to escape, to be liberated, to be loose, to be dishevelled (the hair).

چٿلا chuṭlā चूडा S̱. s. m. A cue or lock of hair worn behind. See چونٿلا chonṭlā.

چکناٿ chiknā-ṭ S̱. s. f. (dakh.) Fatness. H.S̱. چکناچور chaknā-chūr, s. m. Scraps, small pieces, atoms, filings. چکنا چور کرنا chaknā- chūr karnā, To shatter, to shiver, to break to pieces. چکنا چورهونا chaknā-chūr honā, To be dashed to pieces, to shatter.

چـﮩبچه chah-bachcha P (چه for چاه A well, and بچه A child) s. m. A vat, a cistern.

چپچپانا chup-chupānā H v. n. To keep silence. چپچپاتي chupchupāte, Silently, secretly.

چومن chūman S̱. (see چومنا) To kiss, kissing.

چوکنا chaukannā H adj. Cautious, alert, circum- spect, sly, on oneʼs guard, wary.

چکتي chaktī S̱. (from चक्र A circle) s. f. 1. The hide of a rhinoceros (of which shields are made). 2. A patch of leather, a slice, com- pressed, flattened, a patch, the round of a cheese. 3. A round plate of metal, &c.
