چهيڙ chheṛ H (from چهيڙنا) s. f. Irritating, irrita- tion, vexing, &c. See the verb. چهيڙچهاڙ chheṛ chhāṛ or چهيڙکهاني chheṛ khānī, s. f. 1. Stric- ture, animadversion. 2. The act of vexing, provoking, exciting, &c.

چوهڙا chūhṛā H s. m. A Hindū sweeper. See حلال خور ḥalāl-ḵẖor.

چمانا chumānā S̱. (from चुंबन or caus. of چومنا) v. a. To cause to kiss.

چهکڙانا chhakṛānā H v. a. To slap, to cuff.

چل چلانا chulchulānā S̱. (from चंचल) v. n. To itch, to titillate.

چهاپا chhāpā H s. m. 1. Sectarial marks repre- senting a lotus, trident, &c. delineated on the body by the Vaish̤ṇavas or worshippers of Vish̤- ṇu. 2. Edition, impression, stamp, print, seal, &c. چهاپي خانه chhāpe-ḵẖāna, Printing-office. چهاپي والا chhāpe-wālā, Printer.

چمچماهٿ chamchamāhaṭ H s. f. Brightness.

چکيدگي chakīdagī P (from چکيدن) s. f. A drop, distillation.

چلتا chaltā H s. m. 1. The name of a tree (Dil- lenia indica) producing an acid fruit. 2. part. act. (of چلنا) Going. چلتي چيز chaltī chīz, s. f. Saleable goods, passable coin, &c.

چهوچها chhūchhā H 1. adj. Empty, hollow. 2. s. m. Conjuration.
