چڙهبنا chaṛhbannā H v. a. To find an oppor- tunity. H.S̱. چڙهتا هونا chaṛhtā honā, v. n. To excel.

چرکي charkī S̱. (from चित्रक) s. m. A leper.

چرانا churānā S̱. (चोरण r. चुर) v. a. To steal, filch, rob.

چپقلش chapḳalish T s. f. Crowding, want of room.

چهنکاهٿ chhankāhaṭ H (from چهنکانا) s. f. Con- centration, causing to strain.

چوني chūnī H s. f. 1. Pulse split or ground very coarsely. 2. A spark or small ruby or other gem.

چچڙ chuchchaṛ चूचुक S̱. s. m. Large breasts.

چنکنا chanaknā H v. n. To burst and fall out (as, a seed from the husk). H. S̱. چن کهاؤ chun-khāʼū, s. (dakh.) 1. A bird. 2. A beggar: see بهکهاري bhikhārī.

چهينکنا chhenknā H v. a. To detain, prevent, stop, retain, bar, restrain, arrest.

چڙهانا chaṛhānā H (trans. of چڙهنا chaṛhnā) v. a. 1. To make ascend, embark, &c. 2. To offer up oblations or sacrifice. 3. To string (a bow), to brace (a drum). 4. To raise, lift, take up, advance, apply, put, spread, bend, die (with colour), pull, draw on, cock, fix (a bayonet), run.
