چهالا chhālā S̱. (खल्ल see کهالا khālā) s. m. A blis- ter, a pustule, pimple, skin.

چمکار chumkār H s. f. A sound with the lips by which dogs and horses are called.

چاهنا chāhnā S̱. (from इच्छा Desire, wish) v. a. To love, like, desire, wish for, will, want, de- mand, choose, need, require, pray, approve, ask for, crave, attempt, try.

چهونکنا chhaunknā H v. a. To season.

چوگهرا chau-ghar-ā चतुर्गृह S̱. s. m. A small box of gold or silver, with four partitions, for holding perfumes.

چهاٴين chhāʼīṅ S̱. (छाया Shade) s. f. Disco- loration.

چوپالا chau-pālā चतुष्पाद S̱. s. m. A litter, a sedan.

چرچراهٿ chirchirāhaṭ H s. f. Peevishness.

چرگنا churagnā H v, n. To chirp. S.P. چرم (Sans. चर्म्म) charm, s. m. Leather, a skin, a hide.

چوڙي chūṛī S̱. s. f. 1. (चूडामणि) Bangles or rings made of glass, &c. and worn on the wrist. See چوري chūrī, sign. 2. چوڙي دار chūṛī-dār, Drawers, or sleeves, made too long, so as to be crumpled into plaits. 2. (dakh.) See ريزه reza.
