چهوني chhaunī S̱. (see چهاوني chhāʼonī) s. f. Bar- racks, cantonments.

چهاپنا chhāpnā H v. a. To print, to stamp.

چال chāl H s. f. A colour in horses, roan.

چوندهلانا chondhlā-nā H v. n. To be purblind, to see dimly.

چهڙکاؤ chhiṛkāʼo H s. m. Sprinkling, watering.

چکتي chaktī S̱. (from चक्र A circle) s. f. 1. The hide of a rhinoceros (of which shields are made). 2. A patch of leather, a slice, com- pressed, flattened, a patch, the round of a cheese. 3. A round plate of metal, &c.

چلهوانس chilhwāṅs S̱. (from चिल्ल A kite and मांस Flesh) s. m. 1. The flesh of a kite (the eating of which is said to produce madness). 2. Screaming like a kite.

چقچقي chaḳchaḳī T s. f. A kind of musical in- strument made of wood, used by Mughals.

چهڙيلا chhaṛīlā H s. f. A kind of fragrant moss.

چهپکانا chhapkānā H v. a. To dash or throw water.
