چـﮩلنا chahalnā H v. n. To be fatigued, to tire.

چهلني chhalnī H 1. adj. Battered. 2. s. f. (Sans. चालनी) A sieve. چهلني کرنا chhalnī karnā, To batter.

چهانو chhāṅw S̱. (छाया) s. f. 1. Shade, sha- dow. 2. The reflection of any object in a mirror, &c. (Plur. چهاٴين chhāʼeṅ). چهانـﮩـ بانـﮩـ chhāṅh-bāṅh, s. f. Auspices.

چکاوک chakāwak P s. m. 1. A lark. 2. An aquatick bird, said to be the same as the سرخاب surḵẖāb, q. v.

چينٿي chīnṭī H s. f. Small ant.

چوتيا chūtiyā S̱. s. m. A blockhead, dunce. چوتيا شـﮩيد chūtiyā-shahīd, s. m. A cully, a dupe.

چين chīn P s. f. 1. Fold, plait, wrinkle, crease. چين ابروهونا chīn-abrū honā, or چين بجبين هونا chīn ba-jabīn honā, To frown. چين پرچين هونا chīn par chīn honā, To become wrinkled from fat. چين ڐالنا chīn ḍālnā, To crease. چين لينا chīn lenā, To crumple. چين ماننا chīn mānnā, To acquiesce or submit to blame or loss. 2. s. m. China. (Sans. चीन).

چلچلاو chal-chalāʼo S̱. s. m. Preparation for jour- ney or departure.

چهوٿ پنا chhoṭ-panā S̱. s. m. (dakh.) Littleness, minority; childhood.

چنگا changā S̱. (चंग Handsome, dexterous) adj. Healthy, cured, sound. چنگا بنانا changā ba- nānā, To correct, to punish, to put to right, to chastise. بهلا چنگا bhalā-changā, adj. 1. In health and vigour. 2. Perfect, good.
