چهانا chhānā छादन S̱. v. a. To thatch, to shade, to cover, to roof, to spread. چها جانا chhā jānā, To spread, to lie. چها لينا chhā lenā, To cloud, overspread, to overcast, darken.

چمل chammal H s. m. A beggarʼs cup.

چوت chūt च्युति S̱. s. f. Vulva. چوت مراني chūt-marānī, Strumpet.

چمٿانا chimṭānā H v. n. To adhere, to cling to.

چهيپ chhīp H s. f. 1. Discoloration or spot on the skin. 2. Fishing-rod. 3. The act of a buffaloʼs pushing with his horn.

چرکا charkā S̱. (from चित्रक) 1. adj. White- spotted (as, from a leprosy). 2. s. m. A small wound, scratch.

چمٿها chimṭhā H adj. Elastick, tough.

چهينا chhīnnā H v. a. To pull, tear, pluck, rob, snatch. چهينا چهاني کرنا chhīnā-chhānī karnā, To scramble. چهين لينا chhīn lenā, To snatch up, acquire, take possession of, seize, pluck, to bereave, deprive.

چکتي chaktī S̱. (from चक्र A circle) s. f. 1. The hide of a rhinoceros (of which shields are made). 2. A patch of leather, a slice, com- pressed, flattened, a patch, the round of a cheese. 3. A round plate of metal, &c.
