چهترانا chhitrānā H v. a. 1. To scatter, to strew. 2. To spread.

چـﮩچـﮩ‍ا chahchahā P. (for چـﮩچـﮩ‍ه) s. m. The song of a bird, warbling. چـﮩچـﮩ‍ي مارنا chahchahemārnā, To sing, to warble (birds).

چهيلا chhailā H s. m. A fop, a beau. چهيل پن chhail-pan, s. m. Spruceness. H. S̱. چهيلچکنيا chhail-chikniyā, s. m. A coxcomb, a fop.

چوکڙا chau-kaṛā S̱. s. m. A ring of two pearls worn in each ear.

چمچماهٿ chamchamāhaṭ H s. f. Brightness.

چهڙنا chhiṛnā H (intrans. of چهيڙنا chheṛnā, q. v.) v. n. To be touched, excited, played on.

چاقو chāḳū T s. m. A clasp-knife, a penknife.

چهپانا chhapānā H (caus. of چهاپنا) v. a. To cause to print.

چنانچه chunānchi P adv. As, like as, so that, in such manner that; for example, e. g.

چنري chunarī H s. f. A mode of dying cloths, in which they are tied in different places pre- vious to dipping them in the die, so as to pre- vent the parts tied from receiving the colour: also, cloths died in this manner.
