چيوڙا chyūṛā चिपिट S̱. s. m. Rice parched in a certain mode and eaten raw.

چماغ chumāg̠ẖ P. s. m. An iron mace, a wooden mace or club with a knob at the end or headed with iron.

چروا charūʼā H s. m. A large pot.

چپٿانا chapṭānā S̱. (trans. of چپٿنا chapaṭnā) v. a. To flatten. H.P. چپٿ باز chapaṭ-bāz, Femina libidini sap- phicæ indulgens. چپٿ بازي chapaṭ-bāz-ī, s. f. Congressus libidinosus duarum mulierum.

چٿک chaṭak H s. f. 1. A crash, a crack, a smack. 2. Intelligence, gaudiness. 3. Glitter, splendour, prime of life. 4. adj. Intelligent, quick. چٿک سي chaṭak se, adv. Deceiving. چٿک سي جانا chaṭak se jānā, To pay with the fore topsail. چٿک واٴي chaṭāk-wāʼī, s. f. Quickness.

چه chi P pron. 1. interrog. What? 2. Which, what; as, because, whether, or. (When pre- fixed to another word, the ه is dropped; as, چگونه chi-gūna, In what manner? how? And, it may be affixed to various Persian words; so, هرچه har-chi, Whatever; اگرچه agar-chi, Although; انچه ān-chi, That which).

چمکارنا chumkār-nā H v. a. To coax, to speak kindly to, to sooth (by drawing in the breath with protruded lips).
