چکلنا chikalnā H v. a. To masticate, to chew (slowly).

چور chūr चूर्ण S̱. 1. s. m. Powder, filings, atoms. 2. adj. Bruised. چورچور chūr chūr, adj. Broken to atoms. چوررهنا chūr rahnā, To sot. چورکرنا chūr karnā, To break into small pieces, to shatter. چورهونا chūr honā, 1. To be broken into small pieces. 2. To be ena- moured of, to be in love, to dote. 3. To be tired. نشي مين چورهونا nashe meṅ chūr honā, To be intoxicated.

چهتر chhattar S or chhatr, s. m. 1. (छत्र) An umbrella. چهترپت يا دهاري छत्रपति or छत्रधारी chhatr-pati or -dhārī, s. m. One en- titled to carry an umbrella, i. e. a Rājā, prince, &c. 2. (corrupt. of چهيتر) A house set apart

چوٿي choṭī चूडा S̱. s. f. 1. A lock of hair left on the top of the head, the hair braided behind, a cue. 2. Top, summit. چوٿي کا هونا choṭī kā honā, To excel, to be pre-eminent or unrivalled. See چونٿي chonṭī.

چودنتي chaudant-ī S̱. s. f. Boldness.

چکورا chikorā H adj. Restless, inconstant.

چهيمنکري क्षेमंकरी chh̤emankarī S s. f. A sort of kite. (Falco ponticerianus).

چهوچهي chhūchhī H 1. adj. Contemptible, despicable, mean. 2. s. f. A pipe, a tube.

چهوکري chhokrī H s. f. A girl, a lass.

چتڙ chittaṛ H s. (dakh.) See سرين surīn. چتران بجانا chittaṛān bajānā, To rejoice, to be over- joyed.
