جزوي juzwī A adj. Particular, in part, few, a lit- tle. (Plur. جزويات Parts, particulars).

جاروب jā-rūb P (جا Place, and روب part. act. of رفتن To sweep) s. m. A broom, besom, or the sweeper who uses it. جاروب کش jārūb-kash, s. m. A sweeper.

جهڙپا جهڙپي jhaṛpā-jhaṛpī H s. f. Fighting (par- ticularly, of birds), sparring, contention.

جنکا janikā H s. m. Double-entendre, an ex- pression having more than one meaning.

جهپٿنا jhapaṭnā H v. n. To snatch, to spring, to attack suddenly, to spring or pounce upon, to fly at, snap at.

جهينکنا jhīnknā H v. n. To grieve, to lament, to think of any thing with sorrow, to recommend any thing seriously.

جمادي اﻵخره jumādạ-l-āḵẖira A Name of the sixth Arabian month.

جادج jādaj P s. m. A path. See جاده jāda. S. جادو यादव (from यदु) jādav, s. m. 1. A descendant of Yadu. 2. Kr̤ish̤ṇa, as descended from Yadu. جادوپت jādav-pati, s. m. Lord of the Yādavas, a title of Kr̤ish̤ṇa.
