جوش josh P 1. s. m. Ebullition, effervescence; heat, passion, lust, emotion. جوش خروش josh ḵẖarosh, s. m. Anger, passion, rage. جوش خون josh-i-ḵẖūn, s. m. Ebullition of the blood (the name of a disease). جوش دينا josh-denā, To cause to boil, to boil. جوش زن josh-zan or جوش زنان josh-zanān, adj. Boiling up, in a state of ebullition. جوش کهانا josh khānā, or جوش مارنا josh mārnā, To boil or bubble up. 2. (In compos.) part. act. (from جوشيدن) Boiling, effervescing.
