الٿا ulṭā H part. or adj. Reversed, turned back. ¶ s. m. 1. Reverse, opposite, contrary. 2. Pease pudding, a kind of pudding made of the meal of any pulse.

الٿا پلٿا ulṭā pulṭā H adj. Topsyturvy, higgledy- piggledy.

الٿانا ulṭānā H (caus. of الٿنا) v. a. To overturn,

حلقوم ḥulḳūm A s. m. See حلق ḥalḳ.

خلق ḵẖulḳ A s. m. Nature, quality, good dis- position, civility, politeness. (Plur. اخلاق).

صلح ṣulḥ A s. f. Peace, reconciliation, treaty, truce, concord. صلح کل ṣulḥ-i-kull, s. f. Per- fect reconciliation, definitive treaty.

صلحه ṣulḥa A s. m. Friendship.

قلقل ḳulḳul A s. f. m. The noise made by water in the neck of a bottle when pouring out, gug- gling. ¶ ḳilḳil, A plant producing a black odoriferous grain, (said to be) the pomegranate of the desert.

قلقله ḳulḳula A. s. m. A ḥuḳka.

ملحد mulḥid A (part. act. IV. of لحد) s. m. A heretick, unbeliever, one who denies the resur- rection, a deist, an apostate. (Arab. plur. ملحدين mulḥidīn).

ملحق mulḥaḳ A (part. pass. IV. of لحق) adj. Joined, added, annexed, adhering, adjunct.
