تدارک tadāruk A (inf. vi. of درک) s. m. 1. Re- paration, remedy, an expedient, precaution, pro- vision, preparation (particularly, to obtain jus- tice). 2. The instruments and means used to procure justice (as, writings, lawyers, witnesses, &c.). 3. Chastisement, retaliation. تدارک کرنا tadāruk karnā, To provide against, to make pre- paration, to take precaution, to redress, oppose, to chastise.

تدان tadāṅ तदा S. adv. (dakh.) Then, that time.

تداول tadāwul A (inf. vi. of دول) s. m. Tradition. (lit. Passing from one to another).

تداوي tadāwī A (inf. vi. of دوا) s. f. Administering medicine, cure, healing.

مبتدا mubtadā A (part. pass. VIII. of بدأ) s. f. 1. Commencement, principle, or subject of a pro- position. 2. Substantive noun in the nomina- tive case. مبتدا وخبر mubtadā-o-ḵẖabar, s. f. The subject and predicate, or substantive and adjective (in syntax).

مستدام mustadām A (part. pass. X. of دوم) adj. Perpetual.

مقتدا muḳtadā A (for مقتديٰ part. pass. VIII. of قدو) adj. Followed, imitated, imitable.
