تبرک tabarruk A (inf. v. of برکت Heb. He blessed) s. m. 1. Benediction, congratulation. 2. A portion of presents (or what is left of food presented to great men, &c.) given to their de- pendants; sacred relicks. (Plur. تبرکات).

تحرک taḥarruk A (inf. v. of حرکت) s. m. Mo- tion, movement, agitation.

تدارک tadāruk A (inf. vi. of درک) s. m. 1. Re- paration, remedy, an expedient, precaution, pro- vision, preparation (particularly, to obtain jus- tice). 2. The instruments and means used to procure justice (as, writings, lawyers, witnesses, &c.). 3. Chastisement, retaliation. تدارک کرنا tadāruk karnā, To provide against, to make pre- paration, to take precaution, to redress, oppose, to chastise.

رک ruk S̱. (from رکنا ruknā) s. m. Stoppage.

رکانا rukānā S̱. (caus. of روکنا roknā, q. v.) v. a. To cause to enclose, surround, stop, hinder.

رکاو rukāʼo S̱. (from رکانا or روکنا q. v.) s. m. Hinderance, prevention, detention.

رکاوٿ rukāwaṭ S̱. (from رکانا) s. f. Prevention, hinderance, detention, backwardness. S. رکت रक्त (r. रंज Colour, die) rakat or rakt, 1. adj. Red. 2. s. m. Blood. رکت چندن रक्ततंदन rakt-chandan, s. m. Red sandal- wood, red sanders.

رکمني रुक्मिणी rukmiṇī S s. f. The name of one of Kr̤ish̤ṇaʼs wives, and sister of Rukma.

رکمه rukma रुक्मी S̱. s. m. The name of the brother-in-law of Kr̤ish̤ṇa and son of Bhīsh̤- maka.

رکن rukan S̱. (see رکنا) s. f. Stopping.

رکن rukn A s. m. 1. A pillar, a prop, aid, support, a grandee. 2. Foot of a verse. (Plur. ارکان).

رکنا ruknā S̱. (r. रुध Confine) v. n. To stop, to be hindered, to be enclosed, to be prohibited.

رکهاٴي rukhā-ī S̱. (from روکها) s. f. 1. Plainness, dryness. 2. Unkind looks, indifference.

رکوب rukūb A s. m. 1. The act of riding on a horse, carriage, &c. 2. Commission of a crime. ¶ rakūb, adj. Riding, ridden on (an animal).

رکوع rukūﻌ A s. m. Bowing the body in prayer, &c. See رکعت rakʼaﻌt.
