استغاثه istig̠ẖās̤a A (inf. x. of غوث) s. m. Asking for help; demanding justice, complaining.

استغراب istig̠ẖrāb A (inf. x. of غروب) s.m. Great admiration, amazement, wonder.

استغراق istig̠ẖrāḳ A (inf. x. of غرق) s.m. Drowning, the being immersed, absorbed, or wholly engaged (in any thing). ¶ adj. Drowned, im- mersed in thought, engrossed, wholly employed, drowned in sleep, &c.

اغلاق ig̠ẖlāḳ A (inf. iv. of غلق) s. m. 1. The being abstruse or difficult to be understood, ab- struseness. 2. An obstacle.

اغلام ig̠ẖlām A (inf. iv. of غلم) s. m. 1. Inflaming with desire, provoking to venery. 2. So- domy.

اغماز ig̠ẖmāz A (inf. iv. of غمز) s. m. Detrac- tion: but, sometimes used for اغماض q. v.

اغماض ig̠ẖmāẓ A (inf. iv. of غمض) s. m. Dissi- mulation, connivance, superciliousness, ogling, coquetry. اغماض کرنا ig̠ẖmāẓ karnā, To wink or connive at. A. H. اغماضي ig̠ẖmāẓ-ī, s. f. See اغماض ig̠ẖmāẓ.

اغوا ig̠ẖwā A (inf. iv. of غوي Heb. Erred, acted perversely) s. m. Seduction, temptation, instigation. اغوا کرنا ig̠ẖwā karnā, To seduce, lead astray, tempt.

بالغ bālig̠ẖ A part. act. (from بلوغ) Reaching its end, consummate, arrived at the age of matu- rity; an adult. (Fem. بالغه).

صغار ṣig̠ẖār A plur. (of صغير from صغر Heb. To be small) Small. صغاروکبار ṣig̠ẖār o kibār, The small and great, the populace.

صغر ṣig̠ẖar A s. m. Smallness, minuteness.
