بانس پهوڙ bāṅs-phoṛ S̱. (वंशस्फोट from वंश Bamboo, and r. स्फुट Break) s. m. Name of a cast who work on bamboos.

بنجهوٿي banjhoṭī S̱. (from बंध्या Barren) s. f. A medicine taken to produce barrenness.

بهنبهوڙنا bhambhoṛnā H v. a. To bite and mumble (as a dog), to worry.

بهونـﮩـ bhoṅh S̱. or bhauṅh (भ्रू) s. f. Eyebrow. See ابرو abrū.

بهونپو bhoṅpū H s. m. A horn, wind instrument.

بهونکس bhoṅkas H s. m. A wizard who preys upon children (or men or women) till he brings them to the grave.

تهوڙا thoṛā H adj. A little, small, scarce, few, scanty, seldom, some, less. تهوڙابـﮩت thoṛā bahut, adj. More or less. تهوڙاتهوڙا thoṛā thoṛā, A little, by degrees. تهوڙاتهوڙا هونا thoṛā thoṛā honā, To be ashamed, to shrink with shame. تهوڙي سي تهوڙا thoṛe se thoṛā, adj. Very little.

جهنجهوڙنا jhinjhoṛnā H v. n. (dakh.) To break with the teeth.

جوکهون jokhoṅ H s. f. See جوکهم jokhim.

راٿهوڙ rāṭhoṛ H adj. (dakh.) Strong, firm: see مضبوط maẓbūt̤.

سبهون sabhoṅ S̱. adj. plur. inflect. of سب sab, All, q. v.

سرپهوڙي sir-phoṛī S̱. s. f. (dakh.) 1. Headach. 2. Absurd or vain labour.

سٿهوڙا saṭhoṛā H s. m. A sweetmeat, consisting of meal, sugar, ginger, spices, &c. (particularly given medicinally to childbed women, and dis- tributed, as caudle is, to gossips).
