چوکهٿ chaukhaṭ चतुष्काष्ठ S̱. s. m. f. 1. Frame of a door, door. 2. The upper and lower piece of the frame of a door.

چوکي chaukī H s. f. 1. A frame to sit on, a stool, bench. 2. Guard or watch, watching. 3. The post where a guard is stationed. 4. An orna- ment worn on the breast. چوکيدار chaukī-dār, 1. adj. Keeping guard. 2. s. m. A watchman. چوکيداري chaukīdār-ī, s. f. 1. The business of a watchman. 2. The pay or hire of a watchman. چوکي دينا chaukī denā, To watch, guard, mount guard. چوکي مارنا chaukī mārnā, To smuggle.
