آوبهگت āʼobhagat H or āʼobhagati, s. f. Civil re- ception or salutation, welcome, courteousness.

اردهگ urdhag ऊर्द्धग S̱. s. m. A disease occasioned by the mounting of wind upwards.

اشگون a-shagūn S̱. s. m. Bad omen, portent.

اشگوني ashagūn-ī S̱. adj. Portentous, ill-omened.

بهگ भग bhag S s. f. Vulva.

بهگانا bhagānā H (trans. of بهاگنا) v. a. To cause to flee or escape, to cause to run away, to drive away. ¶ bhigānā (trans. of بهيگنا) v. a. To wet, moisten, steep.

بهگت bhagat भक्त S̱. s. m. See بهکت bhakt. بهگت کهيلنا bhagat-khelnā, v. n. To act (a play), to imitate, to mimick. بهگت هونا bhagat-honā, v. n. To be initiated as a devotee, to be affi- liated to a religious order. (This is peculiar to the low tribes. The initiation consists in putting a necklace of beads round the neck, and marking a circle on the forehead. After which, the initiated person is bound to refrain from the use of spirituous liquors, flesh, &c.).

بهگتاٴي bhagtāʼī S̱. (from بهگت) s. f. Piety, devo- tion, religiousness.

بهگتن bhagtan S̱. s. f. 1. Wife of a بهگت bhagat. 2. (ironically) A lewd woman, a prostitute, a whore.

بهگتيا bhagtiyā S̱. (from بهگت) s. m. A dancing boy.

بهگل bhagal H s. m. Affectation, hypocrisy, trick, deception. بهگل نکالنا bhagal-nikālnā, v. a. To affect, to play a trick, to pretend poverty.

بهگلي گـﮩنا bhaglī-gahnā H s. m. False jewels, trinkets.

بهگليا bhagliyā H s. m. Impostor, cheat.

بهگندر भगंदर bhagandar S s. m. A fistula (in ano).

بهگني भगिनी bhaginī S s. f. A sister.
