بن bin S̱. (विना) adv. Without, except, un- less, not. بن جاني bin-jāne, With- out knowing, unwittingly. بن داني پاني bin dāne pānī, Without eating and drinking. بن ماري شهيدهونا bin māre shahīd honā, or بن تيغ شهيدهونا bin teg̠ẖ shahīd honā, To be slain without a wound (are expressions applied to lovers). بن ماري توبه کرنا bin māre tauba karnā, To fear without a cause.

بردباري burd-bār-ī P s. f. Bearing of burthen; forbearance, patience.

بيـﮩشي be-hush-ī P s. f. See بي هوشي be-hosh-ī, under بي be.

بورق būraḳ A or bauraḳ, s. m. Borax.

بردي bardī वर्द्धी S̱. s. A drove of cattle loaded.

بندگان banda-gān P s. plur. Slaves, servants.

بذله biẕla A s. m. A garment for daily use of which no care is taken.

بهول bhūl S̱. (perhaps, from r. भ्रम Err) s. f. For- getfulness, errour, mistake, miss, blunder.

بياجو byājū S̱. (from بياج) s. m. The principal or capital sum put out at interest.

بغلي bag̠ẖl-ī P (from بغل) 1. adj. Relating to the armpit, axillary. 2. s. f. A disorder in camels when they rub the thigh against the belly. 3. A purse. 4. A kind of dumb bell used in exer- cise. 5. A sort of dress, the bottom of which is under the armpits. 6. The action of a bird putting its head under its wing. بغلي تکيه bag̠ẖlī takiya, A bolster for the sides.
