اردهانگ अर्द्धांग अर्द्ध Half, and अंग Body ardhāng S. s. m. Half the body; palsy affecting one side or the upper or lower part of the body, hemiplegia. اردهانگ دهرنا ardhāng dharnā, To assume a body half male and half female.

اردهانگي अर्द्धांगी ardhāng-ī S 1. adj. One afflicted with hemiplegia. 2. s. f. A wife.

اپردهان अप्रधान a-pradhān S adj. Subordinate, secondary, mean, powerless.

بدهان विधान bidhān S or vidhān, s. m. Com- mon practice, precept, direction. See بده विधि sign 1. and 2.

بندهان bandhān S̱. (बंधन or निबंध) s. m. Pension, a fixed allowance made to any one.

بندهانا bandhānā S̱. (caus. of بندهنا) v. a. To bind, fasten, shut, &c.

بندهاني bandhān-ī S̱. s. m. 1. One whose business it is to carry stone, timber, &c. over his shoulder. 2. A pensioner. 3. A gunner, artilleryman.

دهان dhān धान्य S̱. s. m. The rice-plant, or rice before it is separated from the husk.
