لوه چن loh-chun S̱. (लोहचूर्ण) s. m. Iron filings.

چنا chunnā H 1. v. a. To gather, pick, choose, select, cull. 2. To pick up food (as birds). 3. To place in order, arrange. 4. To plait (cloth). 5. s. m. Ascarides. دروازه چنا dar- wāza chunnā, To close a door with bricks.

چنان chunān P adj. Like that, such, so.

چنان چنين chunān-chunīn P adv. In this and that manner; (met.) evasion, subterfuge.

چنانا chunānā H (caus. of چنا chunnā) v. a. To cause to pick, choose, arrange, put in order, &c. چناليتا chunā lenā, v. a. 1. To plait (cloth). 2. To kill by building a person into a wall.

چنانچه chunānchi P adv. As, like as, so that, in such manner that; for example, e. g.

چناوٿ chunāwaṭ H (from چنانا) s. f. Plaiting, plait.

چنت chunat H (from چنا chunnā) s. f. Plaiting (cloths), plaits.

چندها chundhā H adj. 1. Blinkard. 2. Bad (as, a hand-writing).

چندهلا chundhlā H s. m. Blinkard.

چندهلانا chundhlā-nā H v. n. To be purblind, to see dimly.

چنري chunarī H s. f. A mode of dying cloths, in which they are tied in different places pre- vious to dipping them in the die, so as to pre- vent the parts tied from receiving the colour: also, cloths died in this manner.

چنن chunan H s. m. Rumple, crease.

چنوانا chunwānā H (causal of چنا chunnā) v. a. To cause to pick, select, put in order, &c.

چنوٿا chunauṭā S̱. s. m. 1. The same as s̱. چنوٿي chunauṭī, q. v. 2. The folding of the cloth called sārī (ساري) worn by women.
