ببري baburī S̱. (वर्वुर) s. f. The name of a tree of the Mimosa kind. (There are several species, but the commonest is Arabica. Roxb.) The acacia tree.

برا burā H adj. Bad, worse. برالگنا burā lagnā, v. n. To be unpleasant. براماننا burā mānnā, v. a. To take amiss or ill or as an affront, to be displeased or affronted. ¶ burrā, s. See جوف jauf.

براده burāda A s. m. Filings.

براس burās H s. Anger, displeasure.

براق burāḳ A n. prop. The ass on which Mu- hammad is said to have passed from Jerusalem to heaven.

براٴي burā-ī H (from برا burā) s. f. Mischief, badness, evil, wickedness. براٴي پراٿهناياکمرباندهنا burāʼī par uṭhnā yā kamar bāndhnā, To resolve on mischief.

بربرا burburā S̱. (see بلبلا) s. m. A bubble.

بريدني burīdan-ī P adj. Fit or deserving to be cut.

بريده burīda P part. pass. (from بريدن) Cut, am- putated, clipped.
