اتهربن अथर्व्वन् atharban S or atharvan, s. m. Name of the fourth Veda.

اتهل athal S̱. (अ and स्थल A place) adj. Un- stable, unsteady, wavering.

اتهوا अथ Now, &c. and वा Or atha-vā S. conj. Or. S. اتي इति (r. इ Go) itī, a particle implying Cause, manifestation, reference, something ad- ditional, conclusion: and may be translated by Thus therefore, lo, behold, et cetera, so says, finis, the end; in which latter sense it is usually written like زیاده چه in Persian and تم in Arabic, at the end of a book, letter, &c.

اتهک athak S̱. (अ and स्थ्ग्न Weariness) adj. Unwearied, untired, insensible of fatigue.

برتهم प्रथम pratham S adj. First, before.

لتهڙ lathaṛ H adj. Stiff.

متهن मथन mathan S s. m. Churning.

متهنيا mathaniyā मंथनी S̱. s. f. A churn.

متهورا mathaurā S̱. (from ماتها) s. m. A parasol, parapluie, umbrella.

متهوﭢ mathauṭ S̱. (from ماتها which from मस्तक) s. m. Contribution, subscription, capitation.
