آب خست āb-ḵẖast P s. f. A water-melon, musk-melon, or other fruit the inside of which is acid and perished.

ابخل abḵẖal A adj. compar. (of بخیل) More, most or very covetous.

اخس aḵẖass A adj. compar. (of خسیس) More or most avaricious, mean or very mean.

اخص aḵẖaṣṣ A adj. compar. (of خاص) More or most especial or excellent.

باخه bāḵẖa P s. m. A tortoise.

بيت الخلا baitu-l-ḵẖalā A s. m. A necessary, a privy.

تاج خروس tāj-i-ḵẖaros P s. m. The comb of a cock; the cockscomb flower (Amaranthus, or Celosia).

تخلخل taḵẖalḵẖul A (inf. ii. of خلخل) s. 1. Put- ting on or wearing the ornament called خلخال ḵẖalḵẖāl. 2. Separation.

تخلص taḵẖalluṣ A (inf. v. of خلص) s. m. The titular name assumed by poets; as, Saudā was the taḵẖallūṣ of Mirzā Muhammad Rafīﻌ.

تخلف taḵẖalluf A (inf. v. of خلف) s. m. Delaying, going back, remaining or being left behind.

تخلل taḵẖallul A (inf. v. of خلل) s. m. Disturb- ance, interruption, discord, dissension.

تخيل taḵẖaiyul A (inf. v. of خيال) s. m. 1. Fan- cying, imagining, supposing. 2. Suspicion. Plur. تخيلات taḵẖaiyulāt, 1. Suspicions. 2. Fancies.

تراش خراش tarāsh-ḵẖarāsh P s. f. Shape (parti- cularly, good), neatness of form. P.H. تراشنا tarāshnā (from تراش) v. a. 1. To cut, to clip, prune. 2. To shave. 3. To shape, to cut out. اپني تئين تراشنا apne taʼīṅ tarāshnā, To be vain, to value or esteem oneʼs self above others.

جلساخطيبي jalsā-ḵẖat̤ībī A. s. f. The sitting down of the ḵẖat̤īb between the reading of the first and second ḵẖut̤ba.

خباثت ḵẖabās̤at A (from خبث) s. f. Wickedness, depravity.
