آدت आदित्य āditya S s. m. A descendant of ادتي अदिति; a deity in general, the sun. ادتیت आदित्यवार āditya-bār, Sunday.

آدتوار आदित्यवार āditya-vār S s. m. Sun- day. See آدت āditya.

اتنت अत्यन्त अति and अन्त End atant S. or atyant, adj. Very much, excessive, great.

استیبادي a-satya-bādī असत्यवादी S̱. adj. False speaker.

استینه अ and सत्य True a-satya S. adj. Un- true, false. S. اسجن असज्जन a-sajjan, adj. Not respect- able or of good family, not good or fit.

انت अनित्य a-nit S or a-nitya, adj. Not for ever, frail, perishable.

انتیه अनित्य अ and नित्य Eternal a- nitya S. adj. Not lasting, frail, perishable.

تجنا tajnā त्यजन S̱. v. a. To abandon, to desert, to quit, to leave.

تياگي त्यागी tyāg-ī S s. m. Abandoner, relin- quisher, forsaker, abdicator; but chiefly applied to the religious ascetick or him who abandons terrestrial objects, thoughts, passions, &c.

ستلوک satlok सत्यलोक S̱. s. m. Satyaloka, called also Brahmaloka, world or abode of Brahmā, translation to which exempts beings from further birth.

ستياناس सत्यानाश सत्या Veracity, sinceri- ty, and नाश Annihilation satyānās S. s. m. (A term of imprecation, signifying) Depravation, destruction. ستياناس جانا يا هونا satyānās-jānā, or -honā, To be the depravation, destruction, ruin, &c. (of any one or any thing), to be de- stroyed or ruined. ستياناس کرنا satyānās karnā, To make the ruin, destruction, or mischief (of any one or any thing).

سچ sach सत्य S̱. 1. adj. True. 2. s. m. Truth. 3. adv. Indeed. 4. In earnest, actually, truly. سچ مچ sach-much, adj. or adv. True, truly.

سچا sachchā सत्य S̱. adj. True, genuine, real, honest, just, sincere, faithful, sure.
