اردهانگي अर्द्धांगी ardhāng-ī S 1. adj. One afflicted with hemiplegia. 2. s. f. A wife.

ان راگي अनुरागी anu-rāg-ī S part. act. Making friendship, loving, caressing.

انگيکار अंगीकार angīkār S s. m. An agree- ment, a promise. انگيکارکرنا angīkār karnā, To agree to, accept, receive. S. انل अनिल (r. अन Breathe) anil, s. f. Wind, air. S. انل अनल (r. अन Live) anal, s. f. Fire.

بروگي birogī वियोगी S̱. adj. Separated, ab- sent (from the beloved).

برگي bargī वर्गीय S̱. s. m. The Mahārāttas are so called.

بهاگي भागी bhāg-ī S 1. s. m. A partner, sharer, participater. 2. adj. Fortunate.

بهاگيرتهي भागीरथी bhāgīrath-ī S s. f. The Ganges.

بهنگي भंगी bhang-ī S s. m. A drinker of bhang.

بهوگي भोगी bhogī S adj. Jovial, jolly. من بهوگي کرم دردري man bhogī karm daridrī, By nature fond of pleasure, but condemned by fate to poverty.

ترنگي तरंगी tarang-ī S adj. Braggart, fantas- tical, whimsical.

تياگي त्यागी tyāg-ī S s. m. Abandoner, relin- quisher, forsaker, abdicator; but chiefly applied to the religious ascetick or him who abandons terrestrial objects, thoughts, passions, &c.

جوگي योगी jog-ī S s. m. 1. A Hindū faḳīr, a devotee. 2. A cast of Hindūs who are com- monly weavers. (The people of this cast do not burn, but bury their dead; and, the women are sometimes buried alive with their husbandʼs corpse).

راگي रागी rāg-ī S 1. s. m. A singer. 2. A lover. 3. adj. Passionate.

سارنگي सारंगी sārangī S s. f. A musical in- strument like a fiddle.

ستنگي sitang-ī शीतांगी S̱. adj. Palsied, pa- ralytick, numbed.
