رت ऋतु r̤itu S (vulg. rut) s. f. Season, weather. The Hindūs divide the year into six seasons; viz. वसंत vasanta, ग्रीष्म grīsh̤ma, वर्षा varsh̤ā, शरद् sarad, हिम hima, and शिशिर sisira.
