اردهانگ अर्द्धांग अर्द्ध Half, and अंग Body ardhāng S. s. m. Half the body; palsy affecting one side or the upper or lower part of the body, hemiplegia. اردهانگ دهرنا ardhāng dharnā, To assume a body half male and half female.

اشٿانگ अष्टांग अष्ट Eight, and अंग Mem- ber ash̤ṭāng S. Eight parts of man, viz. the hands, feet, thighs, breast, eyes, head, words and mind. اشٿانگ پرنام ash̤ṭāng-praṇām, s. m. Prostration, in salutation or adoration, so as to touch the ground with those eight parts.

انتریچهہ अंतरीक्ष antarīchh̤ S s. m. The sky or atmosphere.

انتڙي antṛī अंत्र S̱. s. f. Entrails, intestine, bowels, gut. انتڙیان جلنا antṛiyāṅ jalnā, To be very hungry. انتڙیان قل هوالله پڙهنا antṛiyāṅ ḳul huwa-llāh paṛhnā, To be very hungry, lit. The belly repeating, there is but one God. انتڙي کا بل کهولنا antṛī kā bal kholnā, To eat a bellyful after starving. انتڙیون مین آگ لگنا antṛiyoṅ meṅ āg lagnā, To be very hungry.

انجلا anjlā अंजलि S̱. s. m. The cavity formed by putting the hands together and holding the palms as if to receive water; as much as can be held in both hands so dis- posed.
