للگنڐا lal-ganḍā P. S̱. (لال Red and گانڐ Anus) s. m. A monkey.

للگنڐي lalganḍī S̱. s. f. The female monkey.

هرگنڐا hurgunḍā H s. m. Name of a vegetable. P.S. هرگني har-gun-ī (Persian هر Every, and Sans. गुणी Skilful) adj. Skilful, clever.

هگنڐا haganḍā S̱. (from هگنا hagnā, q. v.) adj. Polluted with excrement.

گنڐا ganḍā S̱. s. m. 1. (for गंड) A ring, a circle, a kind of horse-collar. 2. A knotted string tied round the neck of a child, &c. as a preservative against evil. 3. (for गंडक) Denotes the num- ber four.

گنڐاسا ganḍāsā H s. m. A sort of axe, a poleaxe.

گنڐم ganḍam H s. m. (dakh.) Calamity, misfor- tune: see آفت āfat.

گنڐي ganḍī गंड S̱. s. A circle, particularly that which Rāmachandra drew round Sītā to protect her from Rāvaṇa. See under رام چندر.

گنڐيري ganḍerī H s. f. A segment or portion of sugar-cane.

گنک गणक gaṇak S s. m. An arithmetician.

گنکا गणिका gaṇikā S s. f. A courtezan.

گنکهان guṇ-khān S̱. Mine of merit; very worthy or skilful.
