اشٿانگ अष्टांग अष्ट Eight, and अंग Mem- ber ash̤ṭāng S. Eight parts of man, viz. the hands, feet, thighs, breast, eyes, head, words and mind. اشٿانگ پرنام ash̤ṭāng-praṇām, s. m. Prostration, in salutation or adoration, so as to touch the ground with those eight parts.

الٿانا ulṭānā H (caus. of الٿنا) v. a. To overturn,

الٿانا پلٿانا ulṭānā pulṭānā H v. a. 1. To reverse, to modify. 2. To interchange.

اوٿ پٿانگ ūṭ-paṭāng H s. m. Absurdity, non- sense, what is without meaning or foundation. adj. Poor, helpless, destitute, in disorder.

اوٿ پٿانگي ūṭ-paṭāng-ī H adj. (used substantively) One who speaks inconsiderately or without preparation.

اينٿايا īnṭāyā H s. m. A kind of dove. S̱. P. اينٿگاري īnṭ-gārī, s. f. Brick-work.

اٿال aṭāl H s. f. A stack, a rick (of grass, corn, &c.), a heap of baggage, &c.

اٿالا aṭāl-ā S̱. s. m. A heap; furniture.

اٿامي as̤āmī A s. m. A culprit, a defendant in a law-suit.

اٿاٿ as̤ās̤ A s. plur. Household furniture, wealth, goods, money, slaves, cattle, effects.

اٿاٿ البیت as̤ās̤u-l-bait A Household furniture.

اٿاٿه as̤ās̤a A Household furniture.

اٿپٿانگي aṭpaṭāngī H adj. Inconsiderate, irregu- lar, unstudied, thoughtless.
