اوٿ پٿانگ ūṭ-paṭāng H s. m. Absurdity, non- sense, what is without meaning or foundation. adj. Poor, helpless, destitute, in disorder.

اوٿ پٿانگي ūṭ-paṭāng-ī H adj. (used substantively) One who speaks inconsiderately or without preparation.

اٿپٿانگي aṭpaṭāngī H adj. Inconsiderate, irregu- lar, unstudied, thoughtless.

دپٿانا dapṭānā H (caus. of دپٿنا) v. a. To gallop.

سٿپٿانا saṭpaṭānā H v. n. To be confounded, to be surprised. H. S̱. سٿ دينا saṭ denā, v. a. (dakh.) 1. To throw, to cast. 2. (ناچيزسمجهنا) To consider worth- less or of no consequence.

لپٿانا lipṭānā H or lapṭānā, v. n. To cling, stick, adhere together.

لٿ پٿانا laṭ-paṭānā H v. n. To stagger, to trip.

نپٿانا nipṭānā H v. a. To settle, to decide, to conclude, to terminate.

پٿانا paṭānā H (trans. of پٿنا) v. a. 1. To irrigate, to water. 2. To prepare a چوکا chaukā with cow-dung dissolved in water. 3. To place the beams on the roof of a house. 4. To pay money.

چهٿپٿانا chhaṭpaṭānā H v. n. To toss, to tum- ble about, to flounder. S̱.H. چهٿپن chhuṭpan (from چهوٿا q. v.) s. m. Infan- cy, childhood.

چپٿانا chapṭānā S̱. (trans. of چپٿنا chapaṭnā) v. a. To flatten. H.P. چپٿ باز chapaṭ-bāz, Femina libidini sap- phicæ indulgens. چپٿ بازي chapaṭ-bāz-ī, s. f. Congressus libidinosus duarum mulierum.

چپٿانا chipṭānā H (caus. of چپٿنا chipaṭnā) v. a. To sod, to turf, to apply patches, to stick.

چٿ پٿانا chaṭ-paṭānā S̱. (see چٿ پٿ) v. n. To be agitated, to flutter, to palpitate, to wince.
