باٿي گهاٿي bāṭe ghāṭe S̱. (باٿ Road, and گهاٿ Quay, &c.). adv. Somewhere or other.

بهاٿن bhāṭan H s. f. The wife of a بهاٿ bhāṭ.

بهاٿها bhāṭhā H s. m. A current or stream, the ebb- tide.

بهاٿهي bhāṭhī H s. f. Down the river, with the current.

بهاٿهي bhāṭhī भस्त्रा S̱. s. f. Bellows.

بهاٿهيال bhāṭhiyāl H adj. Down, below, down the river, with the stream. See بهٿهيال.

نهاٿنا nhāṭnā H v. n. (dakh.) To flee, to run away, to betake oneʼs self to flight, to escape.

پهاٿنا phāṭnā स्पटन S̱. v. n. To be torn, to be broken, split, rent, torn asunder, &c.

ٿهاٿهـ ṭhāṭh H s. m. 1. State, dignity, equipage, pomp. 2. Conveniency, plenty.

ڐهاٿهي ḍhāṭhī H s. f. 1. Rack, torment, torture. 2. A noose or gin fastened on a horseʼs nose.

گهاٿي ghāṭī H s. f. A strait, a pass (in a moun- tain, &c), a ravine.

گهاٿيا ghāṭ-iyā S̱. s. m. A Brāhmaṇ who sits in a ghāṭ of the Ganges to keep the clothes, &c. of those that resort to make ablution.
