استنشاق istinshāḳ A (inf. x. of نشق) s. m. 1. Throwing water into the nostrils when per- forming the waẓū. 2. Snuffing up the air or odours, &c.

انشا inshā A (inf. iv. of نشأ) s. f. Producing, creating; (common acceptation) writing, compo- sition, elegance of style, the belles lettres. انشا پردازي inshā-pardāz-ī, s. f. نشا nashā A (from نشو or نشي) s. m. 1. Intoxica- tion, intoxicating liquor, a headach or crop sickness (from over-drinking). 2. Perception (of a good smell), fragrance, smell. نشا خور na- shā-ḵẖor, A person who takes intoxicating drugs, &c. a drunkard.

نشا کرنا nishā-karnā P. S̱. (corrupt. of Pers. نشان) v. a. To be responsible; as يـﮩ کام تمهاري ذمي هي اگر بگڙيگا تو اسکا نشا تم کو کرنا هوگا yih kām tumhāre ẕimme hai, agar bigṛegā to iskā nishā tum ko karnā hogā, This affair is committed to your charge; should it be spoiled you must be responsible for it (or make it good).
