نيارا nyārā निरालय S̱. 1. adj. Apart, aloof, separate, distinct, different, extraordinary, un- common. 2. s. m. The scoria left after refining gold, silver, or other metals, from which a minute portion of those metals is obtainable. نياري nyāre, adv. Apart.

نصيحت naṣīḥat A (from نصخ Heb. and Aram. ) s. f. Advice, counsel, admonition, precept. نصيحت کرنا يا دينا naṣīhat-karnā, or -denā, To advise, counsel, admonish, exhort; (met.) to reprove, to reprimand, to chastise. نصيحت گر naṣīḥat-gar, or نصيحت گو naṣīḥat-go, An ad- viser, counsellor, admonisher.

نکتي niktī H s. f. A balance, small scales. ¶ nuktī (dakh.) A kind of sweetmeat. (Qanoon-e-islam).

نقاد naḳḳād A (adj. superl. of نقد) s. m. A per- son whose business it is to examine money and ascertain its goodness; an adept, assayer. A. T. نقارچي naḳār-chī, s. m. One who beats the kettledrum. A. P. نقارخانه naḳār-ḵẖāna, The place at the porch of a palace where the drums are beaten at stated intervals.
