اسفنج isfanj G (spoggos) s. m. A sponge; a yeast dumpling.

فند fand A. s. m. A vulgarism for فن fann, q. v.

فند fand P s. Fraud, artifice, deceit: a foolish or unprofitable speech, falsehood: a point, dot, mole.

فندق funduḳ A or finduḳ, s. f. The filbert nut; (met.) The tips of the fingers or toes stained and resembling those nuts. فندق یند finduḳ- band, Staining the tips of the fingers, &c. to resemble the filbert nut.

فندي fand-ī P adj. Fraudulent, deceitful.
