اصطبل iṣt̤abal A (vulg. aṣt̤abal) s. m. A stable.

تطبيق tat̤bīḳ A (inf. ii. of طبق) s. f. 1. Com- paring, likening. 2. Drawing up in line, or making to confront (as, two armies).

خطبه ḵẖut̤ba A s. m. A sermon or oration de- livered after divine service every Friday, in which the preacher blesses Muhammad, his successours, and the reigning sovereign.

طبق t̤abaḳ A s. m. (dakh. s. f.) 1. A cover. 2. A plate, a dish, a leaf, a disk. 3. Gold leaf, tinfoil, &c. 4. One thing following another or consecutive; the story of a house, a layer or stratum, &c. class, order, degree.

طبقه t̤abḳa A (prop. t̤abaḳa) s. m. A story, floor, stage, degree, class, order, rank, shelf.

طبل t̤abl A s. m. A drum, atabal.

طبلق t̤ablaḳ A. s. m. A bundle of papers.

طبله t̤abla A s. m. 1. A small tambourin. 2. A wooden dish, or large platter, generally of wood and painted, on which fruits, perfumes, &c. are exposed for sale or as presents.

طبلک t̤ablak A. s. f. A little drum.

طبيب t̤abīb A (verbal adj. from طبّ) s. m. A physician. (Plur. Arab. اطبّا Pers. طبيبان).

طبيبي t̤abīb-ī A. s. f. The business of a physician.

طبيخ t̤abīḵẖ A (from طبخ) adj. Cooked, dressed.

طبيعت t̤abīʼaﻌt A (from طبع) s. f. Genius, na- ture, disposition, temperament, constitution, es- sence, property. طبيعت شناس t̤abīʼaﻌt-shinās, s. m. A physician.

طبيعي t̤abīʼīﻌ A adj. Natural, of nature, innate, intrinsick.
