باسليق bāsalīḳ G (Gr. basilikh) s. f. The great vein in the arm, vena basilica.

تسليم taslīm A (inf. ii. of سلم) s. f. 1. Delivery, consignment, cession, surrender, resignation. 2. Recommending to the care or protection of another. 3. (Plur. تسليمات taslīmāt). تسليمات بجالانا taslīmāt ba-jā lānā, To make obeisances. تسليم کرنا taslīm karnā, To resign, surrender, cede, commit, consign: to salute (most respectfully), to make obeisance, to homage, to do homage. تسليم هونا taslīm honā, To be resigned or committed.

سليقه salīḳa A s. m. Nature, genius, taste, good disposition, method, knack, knowledge, dex- terity, address. سليقه شعار salīḳa-shiʼāﻌr, adj. Of good disposition. سليقه گفتگو salīḳa-e-guft- gū, s. m. Polite conversation. صاحب سليقه ṣāḥib-salīḳa, A man of taste. سليقه مجلس sa- līḳa-e-majlis, s. m. Good breeding.

سليم salīm A (from سلم) adj. 1. Pacifick, mild, meek, affable. 2. Perfect, healthy. سليم الطبع salīmu-t̤-t̤abﻌ, adj. Affable, mild, gentle, pa- cifick; a real genius, a genuine poet.

سليمان sulaimān A (Heb. ) n. prop. So- lomon the son of David.

سليماني sulaimān-ī A 1. adj. Of or belonging to Solomon. 2. s. m. An onyx. 3. s. f. The state of Solomon.
