تعزيل taﻌzīl A (inf. ii. of عزل) s. f. Removing or deposing from an office.

تعزيه taﻌziya A (from عزي) s. m. 1. See تعزيت taﻌziyat. 2. It is become the name of the re- presentation of the tomb of Hasan and Husain, which is thrown into the river at the anniver- sary of the muḥarram. تعزيه خانه taﻌziya-ḵẖāna, s. m. The place of taﻌziya. تعزيه دار يا گير taﻌziya-dār or -gīr, One who observes the mourning in muḥarram: and, تعزيه داري taﻌzi- ya-dār-ī, s. f. The observance of it. تعزيه لينا taﻌziya lenā, To observe the mourning during the muḥarram, to go into mourning.

تنزيل tanzīl A (inf. ii. of نزل) s. f. 1. Revelation. 2. The ḳurʼān. 3. Causing (a traveller) to alight, receiving him hospitably.

تنزيه tanziya A (inf. ii. of نزو or نزا) s. m. Inspiring with desire; desire, propensity.

تنزيه tanzīh A (inf. ii. of نزه) s. f. Keeping apart from all impurity; purity, holiness.

جزيه jizya A s. m. A tribute, capitation-tax le- vied on individuals, poll-tax.

حزين ḥazīn A (from حزن) adj. Sad, sorrowful, afflicted, melancholy, grieved.

حزيني ḥazīn-ī A. s. f. Sadness, grief.

خزينه ḵẖazīna P s. m. A treasury.

روزينه roz-īna P s. m. Daily pay. روزينه دار rozīna-dār, s. m. One who receives daily wages.

زيل zīl P. s. f. See زير zīr, The treble, &c.

زين zain A s. Ornament, adorning.

زين zīn P s. m. A saddle. زين باندهنا zīn bāndhnā, To saddle. زين پوش zīn-posh, s. m. A cloth fastened over the saddle, housing. زين گر zīn-gar, s. m. A saddler.
