اسراف isrāf A (inf. iv. of سرف) s. m. Prodi- gality, dissipation, abuse of wealth, consump- tion, extravagance, ruin.

اسرافیل isrāfīl A s. m. 1. The name of an angel who, it is said, will sound the last trumpet at the resurrection. 2. A seraph.

اشراف ashrāf A s. plur. (of شریف) Nobles, grandees, gentlemen, men of high extraction.
