برندابن brindā-ban S̱. s. m. Name of a place in the vicinity of Mathurā, and the scene of Kr̤ish̤- ṇaʼs sports with the Gopīs.

دابنا dābnā H (trans. of دبنا) v. a. 1. To press down, to suppress, to snub. 2. To squeeze. داب رکهنا dāb rakhnā, 1. Toconceal, to steal and conceal. 2. To press (particularly, with the thighs), to retain by pressure, to gripe (as, money). داب لينا dāb lenā, To outgrow.

سردابه sard-āba P (سرد Cold, and آب Water) s. m. A cold bath; a place built under ground to shelter from heat, a cool room for summer.

شادابي shādāb-ī P s. f. Freshness, verdure, moisture, succulence.
