آب جاري āb-i-jārī P s. Running water; a stream, a rivulet, a current, tears flowing.

اجاره ijāra A s. m. 1. Hire, rent, a privilege or income of variable amount sold or let for a fixed sum. 2. A farm. A. P. اجاره دار ijāra-dār, s. m. A farmer of land or of revenue: one who has purchased the la- bour of another: the holder of a monopoly.

برنجاري birinj-ārī P (برنج Rice, and آر Bringing) s. m. One who follows a camp with grain.

تجاري tijārī तृतीयज्वर S̱. s. f. A tertian fever or ague.

جاروب jā-rūb P (جا Place, and روب part. act. of رفتن To sweep) s. m. A broom, besom, or the sweeper who uses it. جاروب کش jārūb-kash, s. m. A sweeper.

جاري jārī A (from جريان) adj. Running, flowing, proceeding, current, usual. جاري جرنا jārī karnā, To begin, to set on foot, introduce (a custom), issue or put in force (an order). جاري هونا jārī honā, 1. To flow, issue. 2. To pass current, to be in force, to prevail, to proceed (as, business).

جاريه jāriya A s. f. A maidservant.

نجاري najjār-ī A. s. f. The business of a car- penter, carpentry.
