تبني tabannī A (inf. v. of بني) s. f. Adoption.

تبنچه tabancha T s. m. A pistol. تبنچه مارنا ta- bancha mārnā, To shoot with or to fire a pistol.

مجتبيٰ mujtabạ̄ A (part. pass. VIII. of جبو or جبي Heb. ) adj. Elected, chosen, elect.

مرتبه martaba A s. m. (from رتب) A step, degree, dignity, of- fice, employment, charge, rank of honour, class, order, time, turn. اس مرتبه is martaba, To this degree.

مشتبه mushtabih A (part. act. VIII. of شبه) adj. Ambiguous, obscure, doubtful.

هوتبيتا hotabyatā S̱. (भवितव्यता) s. f. Fate, destiny.

پرتبمب prati-bimb S (प्रतिविम्ब) s. m. An image or picture; the reflection of an image or figure from a mirror. S. پرتپال प्रतिपाल (from प्रति and r. पाल Protect) pratipāl, s. m. Patronising, protection, fostering, rearing, breeding, cherishing. S. پرتپالک प्रतिपालक (see پرتپال) pratipālak, s. m. Cherisher, patron, protector.
